🔹 The Work of the Spirit

In this third part of the Catechism, we focus on the Holy Spirit, repentance, prayer, and obedience.
This section helps us understand how faith becomes a living relationship with God.


21. Who gives you faith?

The Holy Spirit gives me faith in my heart.


22. Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is God—He lives in us, teaches us, and helps us.

“The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name…”

23. How can you receive forgiveness from God?

By repenting of my sins and believing in Jesus Christ.


24. What is repentance?

Being truly sorry for sin and turning to God to live in His way.


25. What should you do after you repent?

Pray, follow God’s Word, join with His people, and love others.


26. What is prayer?

Talking to God with thanksgiving, requests, repentance, and praise.


27. How should we pray?

In Jesus’ name, with faith and sincerity.


28. Does God hear our prayers?

Yes. God always hears and answers our prayers.


29. What does God want from us?

To love Him, love others, and live humbly and truthfully.


30. What happens when we live by God’s will?

We become more holy, experience joy and peace, and grow closer to God.


✨ Reflection

The Holy Spirit leads us into a life of faith, prayer, and transformation.
He is our daily guide and comforter.
In the next part, we’ll explore how God calls us to live through His commandments and moral teaching.
